I heard a song while shopping in american eagle.. It was kind of slow and the chorus, if not the whole song, was a woman singing somthing that sounded like "lord he's gonna leave me, alllllll by myself....." I need to know this song

Hi there!
Finally some good news for you! The song you're looking for is called "In this world" by Moby. You can find it on his album "18". I was rather surprised to see no-one else recognized the lyrics... They actually go as follows: "Lordy don't leave me - all by myself".
As Moby isn't an obscure artist you should have no trouble finding his albums in stores!
