This song could be from the 70s. It could be called,"a girl like this", or "a girl like this before". I think it goes, "I don't think that I have (ever) met a girl like this before". Sorry, not much to go on.

The most recent hit that goes like that is Edwyn Collins: A Girl Like You from 1994.
But there are other songs containing that line, such as the ones by The Kinks or even Iggy Pop...

Found the song. It was "a love like this", by Faith Evans. My mistake. should have said "love" instead of "girl".
