Subject: Can someone please help me identifying this song

I heard this song in the foreign TV drama. It was sang by a male singer and the guitar accompaniment. It's a rather quiet and slow song. The song seems to be from the 70's or 80's and it was sound as a folk/country music.
I remember the lyrics containing the words:
"Have you heard the story about the girl,,,,suddenly she disappeared,,,, She's just a child in a little camp one day,,,, shadows says I'll protect you,,, she loved by shadow,,,, shadowland imaginary place,,,,"
If  anyone know the song title & artist. It would be greatly appreciated.
