Subject: Need help with a few alternative song lyrics

Written By: Red Ant on 08/16/05 at 6:50 am

There are 3 songs I know the name and performer but cannot find complete lyrics for.

1. "Bleed The Freak" (Facelift CD) by Alice in Chains- there is a spoken part in the middle of the song (after the 2nd chorus) but it is at too low a volume to tell what is being said.

2. "Kindergarten" (Angel Dust CD) by Faith No More- there are 2 very fastly sung parts in here in the middle as well that aren't on lyrics sheets.

3. "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche- There is a spoken part in the middle of the solo I can't find lyrics to. I don't have this CD.

Any help on these would be appreciated.

Bleed The Freak - Alice In Chains

My cup runnet over
Like blood from a stone

These stand for me
Name your God and bleed the freak
I like to see
How you all would bleed for me

When the pig runs slower
Let the arrow fly
When the sin lies bolder
I’ll pluck out thine eye

If you scorn my lover
Satan got your thigh
If you steal in hunger
I will kick you when you try

Kindergarten - Faith No More

Return to my own vomit like a dog
Rhymes and giggles muffle the dialogue
Carve my initials in a tree, I will never leave
Maybe one day I'll be royalty
Born late
Will I graduate?
Drinking fountains are shorter than they used to
The swings on the playground don't even fit me anymore
Folklore: nobody's supposed to believe in the next grade
Bell's not ringing
Held back again
Everything got quiet suddenly; no Dolby
And the theatre is empty
Film is flapping on the side of the projector
The reel is over
Banished with my sticky shoes and stinging eyes
Born late
Will I graduate?
Held back again

"Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche

Hush now don’t cry
Wipe away the teardrop from your eye
You’re lying safe in bed
It was all a bad dream
Spinning in your head
Your mind tricked you to feel the pain
Of someone close to you leaving the game of life
So here it is, another chance
Wide awake you face the day
Your dream is over...or has it just begun?

There’s a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run to in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn’t realize it and you were scared
It’s a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the tears
And ride the whims of your mind
Commanding in another world
Suddenly, you hear and see
This magic new dimension

I-will be watching over you
I-am gonna help you see it through
I-will protect you in the night
I-am smiling next to silent lucidity

If you open your mind for me
You won’t rely on open eyes to see
The walls you built within
Come tumblng down, and a new world will begin
Living twice at once you learn
You7re safe froom pain in the dream domain
A soul set free to fly
A round trip journey in your head
Master of illusion, can you realize
Your dream’s alive, you can be the guide but...

hope that helped... if not lemme know  :D

Thanks Kristi, but the lyrics I need are not listed there.

"Bleed The Freak" actually has 4 choruses ( 2 at the end vs one ) and the "indiscernable" lyrics are after the 2nd chorus.

"Kindergarten" after the first "Held back again" has the very fast part to which I was referring and what sounds like an identical fast part later as well. It may just be jibberish.

"Silent Lucidity" if I got the CD I probably could figure out the lyrics during the solo (they are spoken and slowly).

I've parodied 2 of these songs but would like to do all 3 and get them complete, especially "Bleed The Freak". I got the "Live" CD but I still can't tell what is being said.

Thanks though.
