The only lyrics I remember are
"Oh my lord, oh oh oh" or something like that. I know what your thinking, "uh dude, every christian song on the face of this planet has, oh and lord in it as lyrics" and YES, your right!
But let me say! It has a real rock n roll sound to it. Infact I don't think it would be listed under Christian Rock, but under a Rock n roll song that happens to have christian lyrics.
Another difference between it and most other christian songs is that the lead singer does not have a beautiful pure voice, he has more of a hoarse scratchy voice (who I love there voices by the way, but according to all hearing experts it's not pure).
? any ideas?

I can see why you'd think that.
A lot of "oh's" and if the girl is really hot "Thank you lords" come from guy in that type of activity.
However, your wrong it's not.

Merle Haggard sings alot of gospel/Christian music and he has a scratchy voice

True that, but it's much to up beat for Merle. It's got more of a band thing going on.
