Subject: HAIR the musical

In the movie HAIR, the singer/actor is shown walking in uniform toward a military transport plane to be taken to fight in Vietnam. Does anyone know the name of the song that was played? and what about the name of the singer?

Do you remember any of the lyrics? Post them and I'll try and help you...I do remember the actor was Treat Williams (I think!).
I'll keep an eye out for your lyrics but have you checked the soundtrack to see if any of the songs on there ring a bell?
Good luck!

I'm pretty sure it's Flesh Failures. The actor was Treat Williams.
We stop, look, at one another,
Short of breath,
Walking proudly in our winter coats
Wearing smells from laboratories
Facing a dying nation
A moving paper fantasy
Listening for the new told lies
With supreme visions of lonely tunes
Somewhere, inside something,
There is a rush of greatness
Who knows what stands in front of our lives
I fashion my future on films in space
Silence tells me secretly, everything
Everything
Manchester England, England,
Across the Atlantic Sea
And I'm a genius, genius --
I believe in God
And I believe that God believes in Claude,
That's me, that's me, that's me.
We stop, look, at one another,
Short of breath,
Walking proudly in our winter coats
Wearing smells from laboratories
Facing a dying nation
A moving paper fantasy
Listening for the new told lies
With supreme visions of lonely tunes.
Let the sun shine.
Let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sun shine.
Let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sun shine
Let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sun shine
Let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sun shine
Let the sunshine in, the sunshine in

By the lyrics, I can tell that is it. Thanx Jinka. Also, thanks Leo Jay for replying.
