Subject: Lyrics wanted for '80s tune
Written By: GREG2 on 12/17/05 at 11:32 am
I don't know the artist or the title, but this song has driven me nuts for 20 years. It was played on the radio all the time back in the 80s, but stations around here are notorious for just playing top 40 tunes and assuming you know what the name of the song is and who wrote it. Anyway, it sounds something like this:
Kir-ee-I-Ay, along the road that I must travel...
What the heck is this song?

I think the song you are after is "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister.

Thanks! You're right. I don't know why this song drove me so crazy. Instrumentally speaking, the song doesn't thrill me, but I like the vocal melody; I just couldn't understand what they were saying.
Thanks again, jaytee! Now I can look up the complete lyrics.
