Are you sure it's late 60s soul?  ??? 'Cause to me it sounds like a line from Rain Or Shine by Five Star:

You're my knight in shining armour
chase the devil and the dragons away.
From manana to manana
do I am love you
yes I do do.

Storm or sun - you're the only one
and this is how I feel.

Rain or shine - you'll always be one in a million
my fantasy come true.
Rain or shine - it's you and me
cut me a heart on a tree and say
It's for ever
not a year and a day.

Robin Hood and Major Tom -
all the super heroes rolled into one.
Kiss away my sad and lonelies
do I am love you
yes I do do
.
Silk and steel
that's the way you feel
and how I love you now !

Rain or shine - you'll always be one in a million
my fantasy come true. . .
How I love you still !
How I love you now - how I love you now !

Rain or shine - you'll always be one in a million
my fantasy come tnre.
Rain or shine - it's you and me
cut me a heart on a tree and say
From me to you -

Rain - shine - rain - shine -
Rain or shine - you'll always be one in a million
my fantasy come true.
Rain or shine - it's you and me -
Rain or shine - rain or shine - rain or shine - rain or shine.

Motown singer/songwriter Frank Wilson recorded a song called 'Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)' back in 1966, but I wouldn't think this is it, as it's quite an obscurity...can you remember any more lyrics?

Yes, I can do that...good song too!

I guess I'll always love you
You've got the love I need (x2)

Open up your arms and let me walk on in
Open up your heart and let me live again

When you left, you left with me, a dream no longer reality
I live through the shadows of our past with this love that was born to last

I guess I'll always love you
You've got the love I need (x2)

The only time I'm happy is when you're on my mind
Every day I live, all my love to you I give
I've been a thousand places, seen your smile on a thousand faces
No matter what I try to do, I'm always dreaming of you

I guess I'll always love you
You've got the love I need (x2)

Every girl that passes by, I see your sparkle in her eye
Right away I stop and stare, close my eyes and I see you there
Whenever I feel almost free, old memories start taking hold of me
I love you now so much more than I ever did before

I guess I'll always love you (to fade)
