Subject: Jack Johnson vs Postman Pat

Written By: Aussie Bloke on 01/11/06 at 3:02 pm

Hi all. Not sure which forum this topic should go in so I'll post it here.

There's this Jack Johnson hit called "Breakdown" which I heard on radio at work and when Jack sings the versus eg:

But you cant stop nothing
If you got no control
Of the thoughts in your mind
That you kept in, you know
You dont know nothing
But you dont need to know
The wisdoms in the trees
Not the glass windows
You cant stop wishing
If you dont let go
But things that you find
And you lose, and you know
You keep on rolling
Put the moment on hold
The frames too bright
So put the blinds down low

My boss starts singing "Postman Pat... postman Pat... postman Pat and his black'n'white cat" :D ;D and the way Jack Johnson sings in the verse it sounds just like that and if he sung Postman Pat it would match up with the music.

Just wondering if any of you thought the same thing about the way he sings this song?

Cheers
Troy
