Been looking for this song for years. Used to have it on cassette, LOL! Mid 90's male vocalist,rock,alternative genre. Some lyrics are, baby come back,make yourself whole,baby come back,choke the medicine down.

both times I went to Google then entered a phrase from the lyrics you gave me like this
"choke the medicine down" +lyrics
sometimes it works and sometimes you get a ton of dross to search through till you find what you're looking for.
