I'm not referring to the popular Toga song. The one I'm referring to has the lyrics: She was black as the night, Louie was whiter than white. He took her home to meet his mama and papa....
For the life of me, I can't remember who sings this.

would this be "brother louie" by somebody called "stories"?
i'm pretty sure it's on the soundtrack to the movie "dick," which i have at home. great soundtrack, great movie.

This was actually a 'cover' of the Hot Chocolate original (Stories nabbed it for the US)...
It might be just me, but I do prefer HC's version...
