Subject: I'm stumped.

Written By: websurfer on 01/12/07 at 8:16 pm

There's a song from the 60s or 70s, the verse starts with, "your love it shines like diamonds", and ends with: "in the night to keep you warm". The chorus is as follows:
You know I love you I always will
My mind's made up by the way that I feel
There's no beginning there'll be no end
Cause on my love you can depend
I need the name of the song or the artist. Thanx.

It's just that we seem to have more than our fair share.  Or maybe other countries are better at keeping them a secret?

The Birdie Song doesn't count. The "original" version of that tune was recorded by a Dutch "band" (Electronicas), who also made it to UK charts. But their version wasn't an original either: it's based on a Swiss instrumental. So...blame the Swiss! ;D

Wasn't the fast food song a big hit in England too? When I read the lyrics it looked almost identical to a song some guy sang at my Freshman Orientation in 2000.

The Fast Food Song by the Fast Food Rockers :D

"McDonald's, McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut"

Such an annoying song, but in some way, I enjoyed it ;D

I've sung the Pizza Hut part of that song for years at scout campfires
