Subject: Band that did a cover of Bill Fury's 'half way to paradise'

Written By: Wyldemere on 12/16/07 at 10:14 pm

Hi,

Anyone remember a band in the late 70s to early 80s that did a cover of Bill Fury's 'half way to paradise'?  The guy who sang reminded me of Mickey Thomas in his early Starship days.  I was almost certain it was him who sang but I've found nothing that ties him into a band at that period other than elvin bishop.  I recall owning the LP years ago but I'm drawing a huge blank on this one.  I've run across alot of covers of the same song but none have panned out yet.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Wyldemere
