The guy was clearly trying his best with the girl, and the girl keeps saying "No puede, no puede ..." I remember this from high school in the mid '70's, but I sure can't figure out what the song was ...

The only one I can think of is "Spill the Wine". That's the only WAR song I know with a chick in it, but I don't think she says, "No puede". Hmmm.
Do you have any other lyrics or any other info to help this along? :)

Although I've never heard War's version, they did a song called "Hey Senorita" (that was originally done by The Penguins, but I can't find lyrics for it or a youtube version (of Wars version). It was on their 1977 album "Galaxy"
