Subject: Need Help with an early 90s dance song...

Ok, I have been hunting for this artist/song for literally 20 years now. I heard it at a dance recital when I was 12 in 1991, and the lyrics (what I could make out) are:
'Somebody wake me up I'm dreamin' Somebody! Wake up ya'll!'
That was the main verse/chorus. It was a dance song, and I have no idea who the artist was and I can't find any info on any lyrics sites whatsoever. If ANYONE could help me out with this I would REALLY appreciate it! I'm assuming this song came out 1990/1991?? Maybe earlier?

YES!!!!! That would be it! OMG, I am so greatful you have solved 20 year mystery lol! Yes, if you could make me a copy of cd I'd appreciate it. It looks like it was only pressed on vinyl way back when...
