Subject: Song from the 80s, looking for lyrics

Written By: Ghidrah on 08/30/02 at 10:56 a.m.

Howdy folks! Remember back in the 80s when "Disco sucks" came out? I hope some of the members were around back then. There were a few comedy songs out in that decade. Another fun song was "Life sucks and then you die" I can't quite recall the group, but "The Fools" comes to mind. Thee was one more song that I'm thinking of, I think the name was "Living in a wet dream" or "Swiming in a wet dream" Totally goofy song. Using innuendo relating to fish, like "Not tonight I have a Haddock", "I pulled my Barracuda into a Shell Sta, the Mechanic said, you've blown a seal, I said hey, just fix the car and keep my personal life out of this".
Does anyone remember this song, it's true name, who sang it and where I might find the lyrics to it?

Thanks bunches for any help, I've been searching the net on many of the music sites, with -0- results. I figure, either I have the name wrong or don't know how to use the search  ques correctly.

Meltd0wn is correct; your second "mystery song" is indeed "Wet Dream" by Kip Addotta. Link below to a site w/ the song's lyrics...

The Fools did indeed sing "Life Sucks Than You Die"

Thank you thank you thank you! As crazy as the lyrics are, (my oldest read them off out loud in the living room) The song needs to be heard. Both kids are big time into Yankovic.
