Crazy, you are a prince among men. Thank you very much!!

Was Stewart part of a group or kind of a one hit wonder kinda guy?

Actually, he was in the Kingston Trio but other than that that was his only hit.

The Trio!

Now that's notable. Thanks to your tip, I checked him on Google. Wrote One More Town  ~  a very good song.

Went to Lyrics.com but their only Stewarts are Al and Rod. Selah.

Hey, Spray! I see a picture of the Maxter with your post. Have you ever heard a song  by the Art of Noise with Max doing the voice? Quite cool. His last line in the tune is ..."will I still be perfect in the morning."

The name of the song may be "Paranoimia". Do you remember any more lyrics?

I'll post the lyrics to this one here, to see if you recognize them:

Paranoimia

Relax...you're quite safe here (female voice)

Du du du dr dr dr am I dreaming? Noo

Where am I? In bed? Well what am I doing?

Uh ta ta ta talking to myself

Look - I must have a star on my door

Or better still, a door a door a door

Uh swinging doors, huh?

O o o ok doors - swing!

Paranoimia

Swing

Paranoimia

Swing

Now I know I'm dreaming

dreaming dreaming dreaming dreaming dreaming

Hmmmm... How do I slee e e eep?

We'll count those bars on the window

1 2 3 - sleep!

Paranoimia

Paran Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paran Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

(Paran Paranoimia) How am I gonna

How am I gonna get to sleep?

Please let me sleep!

Po po poetry - That'll work!

"Come sweet slumber, enshroud me in thy purple cloak"

Huh? Doesn't even rhyme!

(dings)

Does that mean my tea's made?

Paranoimia Paranoi

I can't stand tea (ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta tea tea tea) TEA

Noimia noimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoimia Paranoimia

Paranoimia Paranoi

Ahhh.... Happy Harry's High Club

How do I ga ga get to sleep?

Welcome, JCampbe7!  :D

The 12" version of "Paranoimia" has some alternate lyrics (although I can't distinctly remember all of Max's stutters/rewinds):

"Is it me or is the band getting bigger?"

"Okay."

"On trumpet, Peter O'Toole!"

(just having a little rest between bars...)

"On drums.....The Pope!"

"On baseline, Martina Nav, Nav...gosh I wish she would get married..."

"And on mic, the lovely....Cher!"

"Thank you.  I'll take over now.  And let's just have a little bit of that old computer generated...swagger...yes...."
