Subject: Hello! New, with a question-

Written By: Kelly on 11/11/02 at 12:02 a.m.

I'm new to the site-have been sitting here looking through the 80's section for an hour exclaiming "I remember that!!" One thing I could not locate, though-had to have been from the early 80's. Does anyone else remember Bill Cosby's "Picture Pages?" Might have been on during Fat Albert? You could order the workbook to do the activities along with Bill-we ordered one and I finished all the activities in one day! My mom was so mad!
Anyone else remember this??  :-/

Welcome!  Hey I'm new here too, you guys are seriously stumping me on some stuff.  I don't remember the Bill Cosby workbook.  I was born in '74 so I should remember more I guess.  I did see Bill Cosby "Himself" on tv the other day and I hadn't seen that in forever.

I loved picture pages.  The markers made weird sounds when he drew the lines.  It was "Lots of fun with crayons and with pencils."   :D

Welcome! ;D

Hi Kelly! :) Picture Pages with Bill Cosby were a segment on The Captain Kangaroo Show, starting in the late-1970s. I used to love watching Captain Kangaroo, and the Picture Pages were one of my favorite segments! :) Hope this helps.

Hi, well I have signed up hoping that this will lead me to a retail outlet where I can get the beloved poochie of the 80s.  This little fellow could be turned into a rabbit if you lifted his ears up.  Anyone have any ideas where I could get one in the UK? ::)

Captain Kangaroo!! Thanks-that would explain alot, as I watched that show all the time but remember very little of it. Picture Pages stuck with me, though. Thanks again! I'm glad someone else knew what I was talking about.
