Written By: Jennifer_Blauvelt on 02/04/03 at 08:36 a.m.

Hi Everyone!!!  My name is Jennifer and I work for Cheer Laundry Detergent -- recently we have been receiving so many request for the song that played on our latest commercial that we decided to produce the full version of this song.  Some of you may remember it.  The song goes "Always thinking about you, cause a love like this won't fade away . . ."  If anyone is interested in downloading it you can find it at www.cheer.com.  Please check it out and let me know what you think -- my e-mail address is as follows:  Blauvelt.jm@pg.com.  Enjoy and thanks for all of your support.

Hello Jennifer,

The song is quite good and certainly not the usual recycling of old radio hits. An original song written/created in this day and age is a rarity. The fact that it was done for a commercial makes it more of a surprise. Good job!

Welcome to our forums! Will you be a regular visitor in your off-work time? We have all the decades and lots of fun people in what surely is the nicest set of messageboards on the entire web.    :)

Thanks for listening to the song!!  It is called "Always" by Lisa Dalbello.  I also wanted to say how nice everyone is.  I have never received so many warm welcomes in a messageboard before.  Thank you :)

Welcome a-bo:Drd!

That's a pretty good song. I do remember the commercial more than the song tho' - 'cause it's something that might have happened to me :P It's cool how the company decided to make a full version out of a "jingle." Now if they could do that with the Windsong jingle ("... your Windsong stays on my mind..." Yes, in my mind indeed!). I wish I could contact the Windsong people!

Btw, does anybody remember who the female singer for the Dove chocolate commercials was (it was played back in the early 90s). All I can remember is the line:

"... you caaaaa-an't resist..."

The commercial had a white wolf in the snow, I think.

She had a good voice :)

Welcome!  I haven't seen the commerical, but that song was good...way better than the normal "let's rip off a Motown classic" commercial...
