Hello there ladies and gents...are ya ready to rock...

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name...

Brand-spankin'-newbie here...this forum looks like a blast. This is my first post, so please be gentle...

I love all music from classic rock to speed metal. Grew up in the 60's and 70's. My first favorite artist was Elton John. My first record was the soundtrack to Jesus Christ Superstar (I know...kinda weird). Used to have a bunch of 8-tracks. Even had an 8-track recorder...

Anyways...Hi everyone...

Hey Gamblefish,

Have your ever heard of Moby Grape or Country Joe and the Fish.  I hear they were very psycodellic bands of their time.
Very hard to locate nowadays though.
Nice to meet you.  I never had an 8-track but I still collect vinyl.

Hi there gamblefish...

...being in possession of an 8-track machine is no shame - it's when you've still got a burgeoning collection of 78's you need to start worrying!

In any case, welcome to the boards!

All the best!

Yeah, heard of them both, butt the only thing I can remember by Country Joe was the "F" word chant he did at Woodstock...

Gimme an F

Gimme a U

Gimme a C

Gimme an asterisk...
