Yes, men have been wearing slap ever since..well there was woad..but thats a whole other story..anyhoo they've been wearing it a long time..probably longer than women, but thats not the point i'm making...the fact is real men wear eyeliner. And they don't just stop at eyeliner..theres lipstick,falsies the whole caboodle... here is just a few (there is quite a difference between..say Boy George and Nicky Wire..but they give the same effect)
Boy George, Marilyn, Tasty Tim, Pete Burns, Leigh Bowery, David Bowie.
Brian Molko, Nicky Wire, Richey James Edwards, Marilyn Manson..and a few others who've had a brush with the kohl...Anthony Kiedis, for example.
Theres obviously the old cliched black nails black eyes combo in the typical goth rock bands..that really gets on my tits..
Also the men listed above happen to have a fantastic fashion sense aswell...what more could you want?
