Hi, I've been floating around reading your posts and decided to join.  You folks seem to be a very nice group.  I'm looking for really old music lyrics and hope someone here can help me.

Actually I am looking for the lyrics to several very old and very silly songs.  Hopefully someone out there has heard of these songs.  One is "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavor On The Bedpost Overnight?"  Another is "I've Got A Rose Between My Toes From Walking Barefoot Through The Hothouse To You."  And, "I've Got Tears In My Ears From Lying On My Back Crying Over You."

Believe it or not, these are actual songs.  I just don't remember all the lyrics.

Hi there neferbeads!

I was trying to think of a clever line with the word "gems" in it - which seems a rather suitable term - but I come up blank.  :-\\
So I'll just leave it to: Welcome aboard. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I do. :)

PS:  Someone else wanna take a crack at it?

Try the Statler brothers :)

They did the "flowers on the wall " song which is found on the Pulp Fiction or reservoir dogs soundtrack, im not sure which one though.

The gum on the bedpost lyric sounds like their stylel.

Good luck :)
