this is true but my mother is not as absorbed in pop culture as I am...in fact she's kind of appalled with my knowledge and the fact that I can spend so much talking to people about...as she calls it... nothing.

Entertaining...Probably the understatement of the year (already!).
Of course I don't know your mother, but I can hardly imagine her being in to Cannibal Corpse (or whatever other band Davey's gonna come up with).
