Subject: Watch the Skies

Written By: LinuX-Philes on 03/16/09 at 2:04 am

My real name is James, and this is my first intro post.

I met a bunch of people in Philadelphia, including people from this forums. A lot of laughs.

I'm never driving in Philadelphia again.

More or less I am a gamer, with dice, and little miniatures. I used to assistant manage a game store, and when it folded in the 90's, I bought it...meaning, I have multiple book shelves of games.

My wife is an almost famous persona on these forums, bookmistress4ever.

There it is. Posting the first.

Oh yeah, I'm looking for voice actors and actresses to be in ultra-short (We're talking 5 minutes or less, here) animated cartoon style sci fi or action films that I write, direct and edit.

No pay involved, but if you ever wanted to be in a movie on YouTube...

I was in this SCI FI Short, that a friend "Chris Yardley" wrote and directed, that I starred in (Credited as Ocelotfilms ):

Unrated, but pretty much R for language, violence, and such.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7UKN4ZwNwY&feature=channel_page

I'm looking for people that want to be heard as the voices of characters in:

Western
Sci fi / Horror
Espionage / Action
Comedy

Essentially, you'd read some script lines into software that records it.  I edit those, and cut to match the action of a film made by scripted scenes.

So, on the aspect of being a new member of the Ooze....Best of luck to every one here. I had a great time in Philadelphia.

:)

Hello Again and Welcome, James.
Remember me?  I made you cackle like a hen  ;D ;D What an awesome laugh you've got there!
The voice-over thing sounds really cool and I can even talk without the New Yawk accent!

Well that's great. Let me get some high concepts together, and see if we can find something you both like.

I'll get with Patty and have her show me where to start a new thread for the Ooze Film Project.

STAY TUNED!

Yes, I remember you all well.  :)

She sits at the other PC 6 feet away and types to you all while I play computer games, or write or do Space art, or whatever I am doing at my PC.

My space art looks like... things like this (I did this planet, called Zanbar, home to over a billion people in the year 5440, in the sci fi setting I am working on.):

That was done with photoshop.

I have known of the forums for quite some time. Patty talks about the funny things a lot that go on here, or her photoshop efforts. (I taught her to use photoshop)

Thanks for all the nice welcomes.

Usually talk, but once in awhile we'll send instant messages to each other (reminiscent of when we were dating).  lol

Oh and Welcome James, I'm glad that you are here.  :-*

Welcome to Inthe00s, James. :)

I did a little fantasy role-play as a kid (a bit of D&D and Warhammer). I came third with a group of friends in a D&D competition in England around 1995.

I was never into it full on painting figures and the like but I did enjoy it for what it was.  :)
