Hello. I'm robodog here and pretty much everyplace else I frequent. I grew up in the 80s but as far as I'm concerned I missed the best parts of the decade especially toywise. My main area of interest is robotic dogs or any toy dog with electronic or mechanical bits. I collect and research them obsessively and this site has given me info on dogs I did not know existed. Apparently there were more electronic/mechanical dogs in the 80s than I was aware of. I know this is probably one of the odder obsessions you've heard of but then no one ever accused me of being normal.  As nostalgia goes I'm more nostalgiac for the childhood that could have been than I am for the one that actually was.
Of course I'm also interested in old movies, TV shows, discontinued foods and commercials as well. From the 80s all the way up to the 2010's.

I love dogs. It's pretty much the only thing about me that has remained consistant over the years. I've had other interests and loves come and go but for me dogs are forever.
