Gee, Billy, please try to be a bit more enthusiastic next time.  :)

"Ding Fries Are Done" was written and recorded by Robert Lund about 10 years ago and is easily his best known song. An a cappella cover of it has been circulating the net for a few years, attached to a pseudo-video of a Burger King dude with a moving mouth. Whoever did that version changed the words a bit, notably replacing "Don't touch the fries" with "Don't f*** with fries." But otherwise it's essentially the same.

"Elves Gone Wild!" is a Robert Lund Christmas anthology of sorts. It combines his years-old stuff (like "Ding! Fries Are Done" and "Paddle My Bum" - a so-bad-it's-good parody of "The Little Drummer Boy") with a bunch of new material. And in case I haven't shamelessly plugged this fact enough, nearly all of the new material was written by me me me.

Phil: The shopping cart on www.elvesgonewild.com doesn't calculate international shipping, but that's OK. Just go with the US shipping price ($2) and I'll make sure you get the CD.

Because you need it. Everyone needs it. "Elves Gone Wild!" is the must-have item of this holiday season. You can be the coolest kid on your block for a mere $9.99. What more could you ask for?

Guess I'll have to order a couple to make sure your costs are covered, then ;-)  I know someone for whom it'd make a good pressie.

PS - in your order form, you have to pick a state even for non-US deliveries... should be "Bucks" (or Buckinghamshire, if you've got time on your hands) - I'm not sure what the mail bods will make of "High Wycombe, Washington DC" ;-)

Yeah, I just noticed that myself, but I guess "Vimmerby, Utah" should ring a bell by not make a bell ring, so to say...  :D

Actually, I did notice that yesterday, and it´s fixed now with a Non-US alternative, but I thought Vimmerby-Utah had a nice ring to it in writing...

Aliens of the world (can now) unite! Buy www.elvesgonewild.com :-)

So there's not a Washington DC in the UK - or a Vimmerby, Utah? That's news to me.

Sorry, guys, for the yankeecentric shopping cart. It's now fixed so that you can put "Non-US" in the state field.

I can vouch for this personally--my five-year-old loves it (hafta change it before the last verse though; not exactly geared towards the young 'uns).  Also I've been meaning to mention this:  When Robert Lund thanks AmiRight in the dedications and calls it "The Island Of Misfit Parodists" it works on so many levels I think Chuck really should consider a name change--plus I always wanted to be a dentist.  Anyway, GREAT CD FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY as long as my wife isn't there to glare at me when my kids ask why Santa has an elf in his pants (or "What's four--bidden love?")  What the hell am I talking about?  Well I guess you'll hafta BUY ELVES GONE WILD!! At www.elvesgonewild.com !!! Only 9.99 for TWENTY SONGS!!! to find out!!!

I'm quite fond of that myself. It's almost as if Robert Lund were prompted by some sort of external power....

Anyhoo, thanks for your inside jokes, Claude, WHICH WILL NOT REMAIN INSIDE JOKES TO ANYONE WHO BUYS THIS CD. HINT. HINT.

And Philbo and Peter: Yours are on their way across the pond.

I am enjoying my CD and wondering why, in the acknowledgements, Robert Lund refers to you as Spazz.

Thanks, and good question, Johnkins. Robert belongs to a strange religious group (stranger than most religious groups) called Zamilies zor Zaith, in which use of the letter F is strictly zorbidden.

At least that's my theory. Because I can assure you that I never exhibit any spazzy tendencies.
