Just want to say thanks for creating this wonderful website with the honest intention of good fun and not profit, and always keeping it updated, unlike over 99% of the sites out there. It's kept me entertained for years, and I'm sure will for years to come! Without it I'd have nobody to share parodies with, and none to read for amusement.

I think I've tracked the issue down (bad firewall softwall, installed new stuff)

ChuckyG - I echo all the positive remarks shown above. Thanks for your hard work and attention to this site. I take it from your remark that you have had some problems with the server lately. Is that why I could not get onto the site last evening ? I tried from about 8:00 pm Pacific until about 11:00 pm but kept getting "error 53" messages. I would imagine it had something to do with the recent virus or the bad weather in many places but you probably know a whole lot more about that than I. Thanks again!

yes, it was down for quite some time last night. I installed a firewall for the sever last year, and it was aging poorly... it was running the system out of memory and crashing it. I've replaced it. I've had some other minor issues lately too... which I'm trying to take care of as well.

It's been said many times, but I would like to say it once more. ChuckyG, you seem to process parodies 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, as well as dealing with server problems, fixing the mistakes of us parody writers, and a lot of other stuff. There must be a lot of days that you would rather be doing something else, but you do it anyway, and I appreciate it.
