until further notice i am on a break. i don't know when i'll be back. there is one song i want to finish up and as soona s billy gets his last bit into me i'm going to go quiet...everything i've been working on is on hold. everything i wanted to do ahs gone on hold...justs eem to have a lack of inspiration. see everyone as soon as i come back...

Good luck with finding your inspiration. It comes and it goes but it never really seems to stay. And if there are any big things that you don't want to or don't have time to go into on this forum, good luck with them too.

Geez, don't sweat it...I went thorugh a 4 or 5 year period of not writing any parodies, then came back thanks to Amiright. It's like riding a bicycle.. ;)

Hope you don't mind some company in the break room, Brit. (I wish it really was that kind of break.) My schedule's been so full that if I've been inspired, lately, I haven't had time to notice it, much less do anything about it.
Well, I guess I did have one parody inspiration in the last couple of weeks or so. As soon as I heard about the half time show, I wanted to answer Nellie's Hot in Herre (or however he spells it) by doing one about how it looked on TV like it might actually have been cold in that Superbowl stadium -- I was thinking maybe "Nip in the Wind" to "Dust in the Wind," but I just didn't find the time to do anything with the idea. So, if anyone else wants the idea, and nobody's beaten me to it while I've been busy falling behind, please feel free to use it. :)
Hope to be reading some new ones from you when I'm back, Brit! Also looking forward to catching up on what I'm missing from the rest of you. :) Oh, and if anybody needs me... take a number. :D

i might post a new one now and then but my whole inspiration has gone pfft...the only thing i've come up with so far is a "I am the Walrus" parody...

I would consider that an impressive enough achievement on its own ;-). That song is freaking hellish to parody well. I know, I've tried it. And failed.
Anyway, I know how it is with losing the inspiration... I'll let the top comment on my parody that should be appearing tomorrow speak for me on that one!

well i don't know how much longer this break is going to last. seeing as people who just joined the site versus me who's been here a while have better ratings than i do.
