Let me be the first, okey second, to say this to ya: Thanx Johnny!
Now there´s increased hope for a resurrection.

Thanks, Johnny! :)  How did you know to make these attachments on that day?

Paul, K1chyd, and Adagio, you're all very welcome ---- I'm glad to have been able to help a little!

However .... this is the extent of my public archives, only this Parody Authors Index page ..... my detailed author-listing and parody-backups are for my own material only.

Adagio, when I saw that the Parody Authors Index had not been corrupted yet by the vote-deletion, I decided to make a backup of it quickly, since it would probably show the effects of the vote-deletion next time it was updated.

That's pretty much what I did.. except that I copied & pasted into Excel rather than screenshotting.  Saving the HTML page would probably have been the most efficient option, though

I have the complete HTML page and its various HTML components.

Johnny D & Philbo - You are both due some sort of special recognition.  Or at least a "Buddy" movie made about your clever-quick thinking actions during the chaos of the "Great Amiright Vote Tragedy of 07/28".  So which one of you is Will Smith going to play?  Seriously, thanks again for giving those of us like to keep track of silly numbers for our amusement the opportunity to have a very close to exact closing number on the period ending with the 07/28 incident.

The 07/28 incident.

A date that will live in infamy...

Tell me...when will the 7/28 Commission be formed?

No 7/28 Commission is necessary.

It was all the work of a Lone Mouseman, clicking from the Grassy Knoll....or was it from the Amiright Parody Depository?

ROFLMAO, JD. Nice work with the votes. I notice they were raised from the dead after two days... resurrection must be more efficient nowadays than in the days of JC...anyway, just some interesting (mindless) facts about other events that have occurred throughout history on July 28th:

1851 - Total solar eclipse captured on a daguerreotype photograph (French for 'watering cornea')
1858 - 1st use of fingerprints as a means of identification (Groping offences drop dramatically)
1866 - Metric system becomes a legal measurement system in US (Police crack down on rebellious nerds using Imperial)
1900 - Hamburger created by Louis Lassing in Connecticut (truly a glorious start to the 20th Century)
1928 - 9th Olympic Games open in Amsterdam (only $7.50 spent on security)
1930 - State record of 114øF (46øC) in Greensburg, Kentucky (Numerous chickens fried)
1931 - Congress makes "Star-Spangled Banner" the second US national anthem ("Advance Australia Fair" strangely rejected)
1932 - Battle between unemployed war veterans and federal troops, 4 die (from natural causes)
1933 - 1st singing telegram delivered to Rudy Vallee, NYC (Ironically, the area became known as 'Rudey Valley' from the incessant tunes)
1934 - State record of 118øF (48øC), in Orofino, Idaho. (National Idaho Iditarod Competition cancelled)
1943 - Italian Facist dictator Benito Mussolini resigns (Stock in Axis of Evil Inc plummet)
1951 - Walt Disney's "Alice In Wonderland" released (Captured by authorities and put down within the day)
1985 - Grant Williams, actor (Shrinking Man), dies of toxic poisoning at 54 (Whilst clambering over snail pellet)
2004- Luke Brattoni and other acclaimed parody authors lose their history of votes. (Coincides with deleted megabytes to make room for 'Hot Octogenerians' files on Chucky G's desktop)

Arwen,

Perhaps you saw this comment I made a few days back:  "I also restored the vote I made prior to the 07/28 crash. Gee, that terminology makes it sound like a historical event, "Why, you know I was THERE during the Great Crash of 07/28. Terrible, just terrible, votes scattered everywhere , you could hear the author's moans & whines - to this day they still haunt me in the night. And that poor WebMaster fellow, I think is was ChuckyG, the second one, not the 3rd, running all around trying to gather up and restore 'em. But you, he fixed it up pretty fine, and we all survived...well, at least most of us..."

(Actually I corrected it a bit...I had said "ChuckyG, the FIRST one, not the 2nd" before I looked at the bottom of the page and notice ChuckyG IS the 2nd, as in "Jr.")

hope all the was worth the trouble of repeating...

Now if only I had 10 at the time and was in the screen...the bad news is, Hulk had 15 votes all 5's, the good news, as of now since I'm the only vote on all my songs, they're all 5's...Hey!  Give me my moment!

My magic number...sigh...651 votes, paltry compared to others, but they were all mine! :\'(

Now that we have these, what do we do with them? ??? Go inside and rack up the totals? :o
