Well, I'm American, but:
Penny Lane there is a bobbie with his pants unzipped

I was thinking more along the lines of "A Policeman's Lot"...
But what if "Penny Lane" was one of the, er, stars of the show? It would give a certain twist to "Meanwhile back... in Penny Lane"
