All, I have embarked on performing my parodies, a capella (for I own no musical instruments), at a local cafe that has just started an Open Mic Night. First night, 9/3/04, was a moderate success and I will continue to do more dates.
So if you are ever in the area, come on in--maybe you can perform, too!:
Where: 1439 N Jarvis, Chicago, IL
When: Fridays 7:30 to 9 PM
What: "Elves' Attic Open Mike" at Big Star Cafe.
Nice coffee, tea and baked treats at a reasonable price, too.
