Subject: windows movie maker

Written By: EthanM on 09/24/04 at 10:59 pm

i tried to start up recording again but my computer upgraded to windows movie maker 2 without consulting me about it and that version doesn't work. I tried looking for a download for the original but couldn't find it. Any suggestions about what i can do without any budget?

I only use Movie Maker for editing music videos. For plain old recording, using Sound Recorder. Go to Start, All Programs, Accesories, Entertainment, Sound Recorder. It will open up a small window with record, stop, play controls etc. Warning - It will only record in 1 minute segments, so hit record while not doing anything and keep hitting it until your time is of the desired length. Then, plug in your mic and hit record.
