I recently noticed that I'd omitted some lines in my first submissions of these parodies; it's times like this that I wish Chuck allowed authors to edit their own work, though I realize that would require some kind of account/password system for AmIRight itself.

I would be lying if I said that I have never wanted to modify a post on the main site.

I think, however, that Chucky does WAY more for us than we even deserve...considering the headaches that brats like me probably cause.  He could easily charge us for his service...you know...a paid membership to post on his Supa Cool site...and I wouldn't blame him if he did...especially if he had to regulate accounts both on the messageboard AND the main site.

I think we should all sit quiety and be grateful for all that he's already doing for us...and not ask him to do anything more...

I apologize if I came across sounding like an ingrate; it's just that having to correct three submissions in a month by resubmitting from scratch gets embarrassing.  By no means was I trying to say that Chucky and the other editors here are doing a bad job.

I've never resubmitted anything. 

I just say..."Yeah, basically I screwed up...but that's the breaks."  And since everyone knows that I'm so enormously brilliant...and they all love me unconditionally...people don't care.  (Except for that one time when Phil totally called me out on my typoed title, "She Love's You."  Yeah...I did the walk of shame on that one.)

the quickest way to fix the problem, is resubmit the parody with the proper spelling and ask for the old one to be removed.  That will result in your votes being lost, and comments, but you should always save those to your hard drive or something if you really want them.

As for removing duplicate parodies, it's really not very hard for me to do.  Modifying is another story (the system was never designed with that in mind, so it's a lot tougher to do)
