Subject: Warning... parodies to new songs coming up

Written By: EthanM on 01/25/05 at 9:12 pm

I wrote one today to "LaLa" by Ashlee simpson. It's called "Ha ha" and it's from the point of view of a bully.

This is the link: http://amiright.com/parody/2000s/ashleesimpson15.shtml

if it's as bad as the votes say it is let me know why

I submitted one to the Nirvana song "Beeswax" called "Stephen's drunken champloo"
on Tuesday, and I'm about to submit one to the WTLO recording of Mrs. Butterworth here
shortly.

yet another sign of how far upward the age of amiright has shifted - nirvana songs are now "new" when that wouldn't have been the case for the same songs four years ago.

Well ,I'm a big Nirvana fan. The thing is I would have started submitting my parodies along
time ago, but I didn't find out about this site until last September. A few of my parodies were
wrote in the years 1999 - 2002, so those are kinda old.
Song parodies to date: Training Trip(Sliver), Kill Happosai(About a girl), Frieza doesn't want me
in the ginyu(Jesus wants me for a sunbeam), Oh the guilt*Nanako version, Digicharat crew
(Oh the guilt), Anime video games and Nirvana(Verse chorus verse), Token easternsong*Elgala
version, Anime f****** perversion(Mexican seafood), Persocom Exorcist(Anorexorcist),
I am Error(Breed), F*** me I'm h****(Help me I'm hungry/Vendettagainst),
Angel brigade(Help me I'm hungry/Vendettagainst), FCC(Pen cap chew), Across Conquest
(Swap meet), Stephen's drunken champloo(Beeswax), The quest for the Fecal matter demo
(Mrs. Butterworth).

F*** me I'm h****, Angel brigade and Anime f****** perversion are exclusively on
whatfreaks. Token eastern song*Elgala version and Anime video games and Nirvana are
are on both amiright and whatfreaks. The rest are exclusively on amiright.
I really went on and on here.

The last one I submitted, the Mrs. Butterworth parody wasn't positively received.
I think the theme of the parody is part of the reason.

Maybe Step-chan interpreted your thread as being about new parodies, not parodies of recent songs.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Go to your room.

I just wanted to show what I was going to sumbit, regardless
if it was based on an old or new song.
I didn't really interpret the title of the topic like that.(I didn't think about it when I did my post)
Is am cool though.....

Anyway...  as you can tell, my experience involves parodies of Nirvana songs and
songs that Nirvana had covered.

We're all just a bunch of confused people here, Step-chan. That's not your fault.
