Subject: SHOW & TELL #5--Love Stinks

We showed the love 2 weeks ago with Touching Tributes. Now, your assignment (should you choose to accept it) is to share a parody about Love and the Lack of it. Find parodies about crappy blind dates (I can think of 2 classics off the top of my head!), bad breakups, and messy divorces.
Due date is 7/15.
Note to newbies: this is not a contest, just a way for amirighters to surf the site and share their favorite or recently found parodies. Post a link to a parody (or as many as you want) as described above, as long it isn't one of yours.

Oh dear...I just noticed that this one is up for SOTM, so it's already getting muchly deserved exposure there...but I don't care. There are lots of people like me who don't participate in the contests who might miss this otherwise. It stays!

Just a thought -- why have due dates at all? Why not just maintain running threads where people can post their undersung finds by category?

Just a thought -- why have due dates at all? Why not just maintain running threads where people can post their undersung finds by category?
Well, it was my thought that an expressed due date will help keep each individual thread in view for awhile, and keep people on their toes. Plus it's something to look forward to at the end of the workweek for me. I can't stop anyone from adding to each exhibit if they want to months from now, so I have no problem with how late an entry will be made.

Disagree at your leisure, but when it comes to failed romances, Hollywood wins everytime. When their a break-up there it's front page news. Spaff deliver's one of the most infamous in his spoof, "The Wreck of Ben Affleck and J Lo".
