Subject: Articles for Criticism Spoofs

Written By: Scathe on 07/31/05 at 5:21 pm

Hello AmIRighter's, as you all know there is a news section on the AmIRight for music, comedy, and AmIRight related news articles.  In this thread you can post articles of infamous info that you feel would be good fodder for a critical parody, but you can't seem to find that inspirational spark.  I'll get the ball rolling with an AOL News article on predatory tow trucks in Southern California.  Who ever wants run with this topic is encouraged to do so.   8)

I haven't had what you might call a repeat customer relationship with tow truck services. I didn't intend to do one, but well, umm, here is my perspective: Park In The Yellow Get Towed.

Here's one...

The US Department of State's website continues to assert that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction and is "going nuclear." It's written in present tense. Note today's date at the top of the page.

Brown's official biography on the FEMA Web site says that his background in state and local government also includes serving as "an assistant city manager with emergency services oversight" and as a city councilman.

But a former mayor of Edmond, Randel Shadid, told The Associated Press on Friday that Brown had been an assistant to the city manager. Shadid said Brown was never assistant city manager.

"I think there's a difference between the two positions," said Shadid.

Does this remind anyone else of "The Office"?
