Well this isn't exactly song parodies but I write song parodies and this is a news parody written by me. I hope to do daily updates but probably not as long as the first one

I liked the "Iraq Following American Revolutionary Model" article... made me think:
They'll have the very model of American democracy
With constituted rights and stuff and overblown bureaucracy
Elections will be held quite regularly and impartially
And since they don't have Diebold, then they will not go too farcic'ly
...
And if the mullahs do not force Iraq into theocracy
They'll have the very model of American democracy

Thanks Phil... you're probably better suited than anyone else to finish what you started but if you don't want to i don't think anyone here can make you. Anyone and everyone is welcome to write parodies based on what is on my site - but I would appreciate it if the site is cited. I've been updating every day so there is tons of material.

On the daily show tonight Kurt Vonnegut said something similar to what i wrote in the Iraq article, comparing American democracy to the Iraq situation
