I have just completed the first (and, if I'm lucky, only) draft of my next Nickelodeon Idiot parody, "Are They the Rewind" and I want to see whether or not it flows well. I'm thinking of doing this for the rest of the tracks just to make sure the final product/s have a great flow and first-rate lyrics. To quote Billie Joe Armstrong himself, "We just don't want it to suck."

I want a second (and even a third) opinion before submitting the parody, just so I don't get raided with three and twos, let alone ones. Thanks in advance. :)

I DKTOS, but I still believe a niche parody (in this case, about Nick shows) needs to have some relevance to someone not totally familiar with it all. If I didn't know about Nick, I wouldn't know what your song was referring to. I'd try to see if more details can be packed into it.

I guess I'll put my latest draft up. This one is a little friendlier to those unfamiliar to Classic Nick. The song is "Are We the Waiting" by Green Day, and the parody title is "The Rewind," as in the Nickelodeon Rewind Collection. Then you can comment and tell me which one you like better, and/or if I still need to do some work. Seriously, this song isn't too easy to parody with its rhyme scheme, and if I still need work, I'll either submit it as is and move on to St. Jimmy. I hope you like "The Rewind" (second draft):
