Yep, The New Pornographers, one of my favorite bands out there today, are doing a series of fan challenges on YouTube to commemorate their new album "Challengers," and the latest one is to do a Weird Al-style parody of one of their songs—the winner gets an iPhone! I'd gladly do it myself, but alas, my school schedule is swallowing me up, and I don't have a video camera.

So I'd be quite honored if some of you would take on this challenge. If you're not familiar with The New Pornographers' catalogue, they have a sizable collection of videos on YouTube—just look them up. As for lyrics, go to SongMeanings.net, they have everything.

They're probably expecting me to do a video aren't they? Damn.
Well... I'll post the lyrics either way, and if anybody wants to use my lyrics to take a stab at winning an iPhone they can go ahead and do so.
As I said, I don't have the money to pay the phone bill even if I did win one.

Yeah, I looked at half the video responses and figured that none would rate in a POTM... dunno who won, but I reckon they can count themselves lucky that nobody from here got in on the act.
