A few changes have been made after I realized a small detail... I already did, "I've Been Everywhere", and "Heaven And Hell"... I don't know I didn't catch that earlier.

I changed "I've Been Everywhere" to "Wanna Be Startin' Something" by Michael Jackon (This is hard because it's a very repetative dance song, and because it's so repetative it would be hard to make into a story.

I also changed "Heaven And Hell" to "Cival War" by Guns N' Roses

Alright, it's all fixed now.

(You can still mock me for having "Fergalicious" on my list, but at least you don't have to do "Sexyback".)

I dunno if this is an exclusive club or something, but I did do Civil War a while ago, and I have been trying to write parodies of both Candyman and Fergalicious... Both about me, Charnstarman and Charnstalicious... The may have given up on Charnstalicious cause it's hard to write original lyrics to such an already narcissistic song, where as Charnstarman is about a fictional, stupid superhero, who stops crimes buy creating worse ones.

Charn, anything started by me is generally open to the public. . .and if it is an exclusive club--it's a parodist club, which means either way you slice the cake you are welcome to participate. . .just post them as you complete them!:)

I post mine cause I like my chosen bonus ten and would love to see other people's parodies of them ,however they are not required to officially complete the epic 40. Sorry about that buddy, but no you don't have to do those to say "I've done the Epic 40". . .they are just ones I want to complete personally and wouldn't mind seeing what other people can come up with. Matt's bonus ten are actually very difficult, I think that's why he doesn't really talk about his, I mean, one of his easy choices was "My Storm" by me. . .that one as we saw is quite difficult and I don't think too many people can parody my work (I tend to excessively rhyme my original works--but in a good way I think).

I am now currently working on 2 out of the 3 songs in Level 11 (I can only recall the chorus for Graduation...though I don't know how Frozen goes, but that ain't stoppin' me!).

One involves freezing your balls off, and the other is based around the Loch Ness Monster. I'll leave you to decipher which one's which...

Inspired by, and to participate in, the upcoming weird Al artistry round, I will be attempting 'Hardware Store'. When it is ready, I would enjoy having it's inclusion in the epic 40.

'Hardware Store' I will certainly finish, but I'm about 50% through my rough draft now, and singability is consistently an issue. I also can't speed-read, so I stumble over the original. In about 5 days I should be able to submit my version of 'Hardware Store'. In the meantime, I don't want to give away my theme, but does anyone have any wrestling or fighting moves from watching pro wrestling or kick-boxing, or UFC that they would like to see included in a song? It would be great if these moves or styles were an even number of syllables :c]

Also, I have an idea for 'Stan', but it's too early to see if it pans out. Just thought I'd mention that I would like to try 'Stan' as well in the near future.

I started on 'Stan' a while ago, and it took me a while at that point. I've been trying to find a way to continue tackling this song, but the rhyme scheme makes my head hurt. As I feel, it would probably take me months if not years to finish my version of 'Stan'. So, submitted for all of your approval, I invite those authors interested to try doing one of the remaining stanzas of the song. Let me know if for whatever reason this is not in the spirit of the epic 40. One rule I would say if this becomes a cooperative work, I think authors should attempt to complete an entire stanza as their own, whether it's the chorus or not, and I also request that those interested post which stanza they will be working on. Let me know what you all think.

Well you and I rated them based on preliminary opinion, I think it's safe to say there are very few push-overs among the Epic 40, If the list were redone I'd cut "Frozen", "Graduation", "ABC", "Marshall Mathers" (Too hateful to deserve attention), and "I Would Do Anything for Love" because if Mathers got cut, Meatloaf would be the only one with two entries (one from you/one from me). . .I think we underestimated Rock Star too. . .and over-estimated ABC. Either way, The Epic 40 is a unique list, and heck, even those five kinda help define it, As many people that have tried some of the list out, I think it's earned it's spot in AmIRight history, I will be making a detailed section on badave for it soon, archiving those who've completed any of the songs, and I'll update it weekly. . .

2nz, after I complete my version of Stan, I'll see if I can't come up with something to help with your parody idea. Like You and Matthias, South Park has a special place in my heart. . .

"Dilemma" into "Dilemma" about an absolutely apocalyptic thing that happens, which I may or may not reveal until the last line.

"Civil War" into "Sandwich Corps" because I've been saying the word "sandwich" randomly for a couple of weeks now, so I just have to write a parody about it to get it outta my system.

"Fergalicious" into "Crunchalicious" which will be an overly obnoxious cereal commercial.

That's Level 6 finished! Onto Level 5...smeg knows what I'm gonna do for Californication, but I'm definitely basing Gettin Jiggy With It around Banjo-Kazooie. If you know anything about that series you'll understand why.
