Subject: Post Your Favorite TSB Parodies Here
Written By: agrimorfee on 02/13/08 at 3:57 pm
Out of the 1000+ parodies this guy has done, he has actually written a few diamonds--ok, cubic zirconias-- amongst the dreck.
If he would quit with plagiarizing other people's works, not write out of impulse, and control his obsessions with cartoons, he could be legendary for the right reasons.

Both of these pace extremely well and are not super obscure topics. Both OSs are great as well.

I'm surprised no one has done complained about my heavy flow of anime theme parodies. :D

The delicious irony of this thread, Ag, is that TSB is unlikely to ever know, or care, about it....he tends not to take too much interest in what other people do, or what advice/feedback he's been given. I agree that these examples are better than most of the stuff I've read from him. That said, I don't visit TSB world all that often for a number of reasons:
1) The whole plagiarism thing. For me, once I've found an author has walked down that particular path, I lose respect for, and thus interest in, anything else he/she produces. That's just me.
2) I don't expect reciprocation when I comment/vote on a parody....but one of the nicest things about Amiright is the exchanging of views, ideas, feedback, laughs etc.: the developing of on-line relationships. TSB is a brick wall in this sphere, so I don't bother
Still, it's really nice of you Ag to at least attempt to engage us with the Blessranger, and to offer (possibly futile) advice to him....so a Karma hug for you, dude!

I actually dedicated my "Sesame St. (4 T.S.B.)" to him. I have said it before, i think, that there's a certain strange, somewhat eerie psychodrama that unfolds with his work, the more you delve into it. It's true 'Outsider art'
...TSB is the Jandek, Wesley Willis and Henry Darger of amiright.

Could be, I have read and voted on alittle of his stuff... I know I read a few good ones from him, but it's been so long that I forgot what they were.
I did try to get his attention(since I tend to write some unusual ones on and off)... But like Kristof said, it's like a brick wall. I stopped trying after several reads and giving feedback.

I couldn't agree more with Kristof
Why on earth should I comment on TSB's parodies when he never ever comments on other's works. And why hasn't he been banned if he submitting plaigarisms?
Jason.

Once in a blue moon, he does, particularly if the subject matter of the parody is about him or something he likes.
