It took me about 3 years to submit 350 songs to amiright, and now about 3 years later I should have my 400th parody up on Amiright. It's a nice little milestone, and it'll probably be quite a while before I hit 500.

Congrats on 350, big number to achieve, not many have written quite so many, especially with the detail you put into your work.

Even with only 50 in the past 3 years you're still doing well over 1 parody per week.  That's quite an accomplishment.  Congrats!

It's closer to one a month...52 weeks in a year so 50 in one year would be about one per week. It's a good thing that parody writing doesn't really require any sort of arithmetic.  :-\\

I was thinking of 400 over 6 years.

OK then your math is fine, but my reading comprehension may be suspect :( .  My 200+ song first year is something that I don't think I could come close to again even if I had no responsibilities at all.

And I think about 50 of my songs on amiright were written before I found the site but that should still give me an average of about 1 per week, which is nothing close to the 1 per day that some people churn out.
