Charles Dickens' holiday classic, featuring a cast of actors
from the Eastern Massachusetts theater community!

***ALL-NEW PRODUCTION FOR CHRISTMAS 2009!***

** WEBCAST on http://980wcap.com/player/ **

The Old Strand Theater Players bring you their ALL-NEW 2009 adaptation of Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic, "A Christmas Carol", on radio station WCAP, 980 on your AM dial, broadcasting from Lowell, Massachusetts.

Some of you might recall last year's production of "A Christmas Carol" on WCAP by The Old Strand Theater Players. This year's production is an all-new production, with a new cast of actors from the Eastern Massachusetts theater community, and with new and improved sound, music, and editing. This year's all-new production was recorded in a radio station sound studio at The University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Also, this year's all-new production includes an additional scene that was not in last year's production: Ebenezer Scrooge's Christmas morning walk through the streets of London and his acceptance of his nephew Fred's Christmas party invitation.

In addition to being broadcast over the air, the show will also be WEBCAST by WCAP on their web site, where you can click on their icon that says "Listen Live" to listen to the show over your computer during its on-air broadcast time-slots:

Oops, I meant 2009 of course, not 2008, LOL !!  In the block of text listing the specific dates and times of the show, I accidentally typed 2008 instead of 2009!  HO HO HO!!!
