Will unfortunately be entered in both contests just like last time, as it again happens to fill both requirements and none of my other halfway decent parodies fit either one, but oh well. I promise I'm not intentionally naming new parodies just so they will fit contests that are close to happening, it's entirely a coincidence.
Anyway, recording can be found for the duration of the contest at http://www3.hmc.edu/~afield/Pink_-_Get_This_Party_Started.mp3

I liked a few of these in my "G's, but I couldn't decide. So Mari picked her favorite. One of my early ones.http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/thebeatles293.shtml
"Getting Butter"

So is this thread called the "G string"?

My only G tune is "Give Me the DEET, Boy!":

This was an entry from a previous contest where the subject was "Political Parody"...my one and only political parody.  The contest ended prematurely, so I figured this was a good place to get feedback (and the rest of my G parodies are pretty weak).

Get The Bombing Started to the tune of Pink's Get The Party Started

Goodness gracious, I'm gonna drop the gauntlet on the ground and get out my guns with the gregarious giggle-fest gleaned here: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/thedoors22.shtml

Well, when I wrote it I wasn't thinking of the "G" contest round, but it happens I just submitted a "G" parody last night and I think it's pretty good so I'm going to go with it here:  "Gas Station Bathroom" to original song "White Room", by Cream.

If I'm still welcome to participate in a non-competitive capacity, I'd like to submit  Gumball Wizard, my only G song that doesn't involve either Christmas or gerbil-stuffing.

I'm going with "Green Party Man," concieved in the aftermath of the 2002 midterm elections. I don't support the Green Party in general, however.

I hope I can participate, but if not I'll just post the song.
I have been very busy this past month (paying bills, and my grandmother just passed away)

here it is
"Go Jerry!"
a wonderful delightfully funny parody dedicated to the idiotic show.

I'll be able to vote like crazy now.

Wow. How improbable is that, two people submitting parodies of the same song in the same contest... heh.

However tempted I was to go with "George and Saddam" for this round, it's got to be:

Hey look at me I forgot I had a G parody, two actually.  :o

http://www.amiright.com/parody/90s/willsmith6.shtml

"Gettin Piggy Wit It" to "Gettin Jiggy Wit It"

My first actual real parody song. Or at least the first I was proud of. I do expect votes. ;D
