Subject: ABCs round J

Written By: EthanM on 06/20/04 at 9:46 pm

The only rules are it has to be a parody you wrote starting with J
Here's my entry:

I've got a few "J's", but this is one of my earliest and favorites. And we already have a recording "Jenny Craig" to "Penny Lane"  http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/beatles102.shtml

Well, only two to choose from... I think "Jesus Loves The Little Children?" may be a little bit on the controversial side, so I'm going to go with the slightly more lighthearted:

Nuts, no J's. And the peasants rejoice.

My sole J is "Jell-o" (to Coldplay's "Yellow"). Please forgive the topical humor; hopefully Robert Lund's recording makes up for it:

Judicating the best jocular jape for your judgement, I am justified in jiggling this jejune but jaunty tune:

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:
My latest opus:  "Just A Girl And Chimpanzee"

Kidding.  Sorry.  Couldn't resist.

And don't worry -- I do not have one called "Kill, Tarzan Would, For That Girl He Once Saw With a Chimpanzee"

Ethan,

I wanted to sit out J and K as I am getting exhausted from all that downloading and hours of reading and voting, but Pippin submitted our only J song before I could instruct otherwise...

Is it okay if I just let Pip vote on the J ones for both of us? I need a rest! :P

M :)

sorry one vote per person... but you won't be penalized for not voting

Thanks Ethan - I did just mean one vote - letting Pip's count (as one, not two) for both of us so I can catch my breath a bit. I still have to vote "I" and SOTM and then I can collapse for two weeks! ::)

Whew! Made it, I HOPE! Since I had no J's I had to jot out this one, funnily enough on the subject that I had to quickly jot out a parody starting with 'J'. I don't know what URL it is as yet, but look out for it tomorrow:
'Jake Stuffed' to Limp Bizkit's 'Break Stuff'.
