Not that there's anything wrong with that --- $470 seems pretty reasonable, at that!

Ban me? You should make me the judge. If it's going to be Beatles, you should subdivide by album or year or obscurity. I am going to enter with one that was very difficult for me, and happens to be first alphabetically. I stuggle with bad ideas for a long time until one day, I was sitting on the pot with a word puzzle book, and inspiration struck.

"Acrostic Universe"

Subject: Re: Beatles Parody Contest

Written By: Rick D on 09/03/04 at 11:55 am

Forgotten how I spelled it "Across-tic Universe" (But it was right the first time) Boy, it's hard to get in here right now. Must be a popular band or something. Not that I would know. This is not an excuse, but I "cut my parody teeth": writing all those Beatle parodies. I did them as a personal challenge with no real thought to people actually reading them. When I started slamming them on here, I realize some of them were so bad (Or personal to me) I did some serious re-writes (like the one I'm entering) So many of them are like my "baby pictures" as a parody writer. Anyway, in this giant pond of parodies, I'm still only a guppy. (Maybe a FAT guppy)

Who are the Beatles?  :)

I'll enter if I can come up with one before the deadline.  But I have a recording to work on first  :)

"Guppy" ?  The author with the 3rd-largest-number of parodies posted on Amiright?  I don't THINK so.  I'd say you've graduated to a bigger species.....

Duncan's number 3 now,
He's a trooper!
Rick The Guppy's now become a

Hello, whomever you may be!

OK, lemme say straight up that we cannot have any objection to you using the games, as they are publically available to anyone who searches for "free java games" on the net.

Having said that, and acknowledging they are just a bit of fun, what I would ask you to do is go into the code and change it, cos it looks a tad silly with every game (except Millionaire) popping up and saying "Merry & Pippin's '(such&such)' game".

There was however a fair bit of work that went into customising "8 Ball" - and as you can see if you check the code, a lot of the answers are M&P specific, so it's going to seem a bit strange for people playing it, to keep getting the constant references to M&P, as mostly they won't know who we are !

Additionally, "Millionaire" - if you think the questions are lame NOW, you should have seen them before  ::)  You would swear only one country existed on the face of the earth hey, heh heh...

Anyways, long answer to short question, yes, of course you are allowed.  Changing some of the code would be nice.  Thank you for the credit.

A hyperlink would be nicer with a great big glowing recommendation next to it  ;D :)

1. The "Iron Curtain" went down across Germany, not just Berlin (or to quote Churchill, "An iron curtain has decended across Europe"
2. "What small Cornish town was famous for it's china clay quarry?"

3. Loved the "What did Cinderella lose at the ball" question :)

Is the medal you tried to post too large?  Chucky's software has a byte-limitation for attachments of 128 K.

Did you try to post a ".bmp", or Windows "bitmap" image?  Chucky's software won't allow that, it will allow only .txt, .jpg, .gif, .pdf, .mpg, and/or .png
