This is kind of to test an idea - options chosen on this poll are:
* 3 votes per user
* Poll runs for 7 days
* You can change your vote(s)
* Results shown after poll has expired
I guess the submission phase would have to be pretty much like it is now...
Any comments? Please use one of your votes on either six or seven to say whether you think the idea is going to fly...

This is a good idea Philbo, but don't the polls limit the number of choices you are allowed to have in the poll?

Phil - I like where you took my idea, thanks for taking this up. I never thought of doing this on a poll but it makes sense since this is what polls are for. This could work out but it's going to require some thought and planning as Rice submits above. A bit more discussion here from any and all who are interested would be greatly appreciated.ÂÂ

I gave up adding options at 24... don't know what the limit will be

...and intriguingly enough, the option to "show votes only after the poll has closed" gets disabled when you edit the poll...

Interesting idea, it'd be better if it included more authors' parodies. Probably the best way to run this is by just clicking random several times and having all those parodies be the competitors.
