Entries must be about food, they can also be about drinks, but mostly food, any food. . Just post your best one that give people npot only the giggles but the munchies too!

Jack, you forgot to mention those food parodies about stuff that gives people Indigestion & (OR) Intestinal Disorders.  I've headed out to my Dad's right now.  What is the deadline for posting a submission, I didn't see it in your opening note.

Thanks,

Paul R.

The deadline is...see I wanna get enough food parodies

How about say.. Friday? So everyone by Friday you can post submissions

Jack, sounds fine to me...having run one or two of these contests I've found it helps to mention the exact date of any submission or voting deadlines.  We've got so many different ones running simultaneously and overlapping that folks get confused, especially those of us nearing or already dealing with senility.  So then this would be Friday, November 5th, right?

That said, my entry in the "Food Parody Contest" is:  "This Fried Chicken Wasn't Fresh" based on the Crosby, Stills, Nash original song "Marrakesh Express".  Bon Apetit to all the contestants here.  There should be a lot of fun parodies to look over.  Excellent topic choice, Jack.

E. - If this is according to the same rules as the other contests you must be the Author to enter a parody.  This one is credited to "Neo Matrix" so they would have to enter it.

Well, I hate to be presumptuous (actually, that's not entirely true...), but someone needs to close the entry thread now since it's past the Friday deadline Jack set for posting submissions to this contest.  So, Hear-ye, Hear-ye, I now sort-of-officially close this entry thread...

Jack, I guess I will go ahead and open a voting thread, too.  How does a week from tomorrow, Sunday, November 14th, 11:59 pm, ummm... Pacific Standard Time sound?  Well, I will post it on the thread and if anyone has a differing point of view they can bring it up.

Jack, I think you forgot to post the link to the song but I will try to hunt it up and include it in the entries.  However, you're going to have to take more responsibility if you are going to propose and run these contests.

Thanks,

Paul R
