:D(*cheesy sports commentator voice*) Hello, sports fans and parody fans. The past several months have been a milestone for the world of sports. The Red Sox broke their curse, the Super Bowl made its yearly round, and now the NHL has cancelled hockey season. In honor(or mockery depending on how you look at) of these and other athletic events I would like to host what I'd like to call the "AmIRight Sports Parody Playoffs". It will be standard parody contest rules.
-) One submission per author
-) The parody must be related to the world of sports.
-) Entries will be accepted until February ends.
-) Voting begins when March does.
I hope that everyone who can will participate.

:) Glad to see so many people entering. Just so you know, I'm not just observing.
Here's a fresh shot at the NHL.

a sports parody contest without mike armstrong in it? surely you jest. Now which to choose which to choose we only have about 20 of em... ok i've decided.
this song was submitted probably sometime about 3 years ago. I see it relevant with his retirement recently and that it has never been up for a contest before. It MAY have won an amiright award BACK IN THE DAY but I don't remember. Apologies to Spaff if he was looking to enter one about Karl Malone but here is our (collective) tribute to the mailman:
