This Contest Will be a bit Different. . .

I have a backing track for REM's Losing My Religion, and I've read a few but most don't pace adequately. . .

Winner of this contest will get their song recorded by B.A.D.!

I'm not going to do this terribly often. . .but you have three weeks to enter this contest.  REM's Losing My Religion is the song, do a parody to it and enter it here if you want me, Below Average Dave, to sing it. . .The winner WILL GET THEIR SONG RECORDED, but I'm asking all voters to consider I need one that paces. 

I will be one of the voters, as ANYONE else who wants to vote who has an actual account here at inthe00s with 50 or more posts (exception--those who enter do not have to meet either of those requirements to vote)

You WILL be able to vote for your own song, with hopes that those who do have actually considered whether it paces or not.

So guys, who can do the best parody to "Losing My Religion" by REM?  On Mark, Get Set, GO---the deadline to enter will be Tuesday, October 23rd, and the recording will be posted within a few days. . .if this contest goes well, I will consider doing it more often.

Please, if you've already done a "Losing My Religion" check your pacing before entering it, this contest winner will earn a recording. . .YOU CAN ENTER MORE THAN ONE VERSION---NO LIMITS PER PERSON, but when voting you may only pick one version per person. . .and remember, multiple entries may split votes up a bit and cause yours to get overlooked

Anyone who podiums in this contest will also be entered into my own personal recording list that I consider to record for on a regular basis.

Eventually I will do this song, but Matthias--I record anything of mine when I want;)  The purpose of this contest is to record for someone else, Merry & Pippin--if interested--are more than welcome to enter, I love "Choosing My Religion". . .It's one of the best I've heard by them. . .

but no I will not enter this contest, in fact, I've barred myself through the rules and any contest I host for the purpose of recording. . .after all--I will try to record anything I write, but I don't want to take an opportunity for someone else to have a song of theirs recorded away, I will be voting and will welcome anyone who wants to vote to vote whether or not they enter, but to be fair to contestants, I will not enter the comp because this contest is meant to be for a collab project, and I'm already part of it:)
